Toy guns.....

I sat my firearm safety test lecture last night and received my certificate :D , but why did I bother when these look like more fun and do not require a shooters licence...

I had one of those types as a kid. It was a plastic six shooter design with a multiple tooth wheel. Worked great.

nerf guns are great - they get WAY better once you take out the air restrictors though =)

Re: Toy guns.....

yeah just do a search on the gun you're interested in - but theyre all pretty similar in terms of taking it apart, removing some plastic and sometimes some springs etc, then re-assembling. Some models you can add some coins in behind the spring to make it firmer and more powerful.

i've got two at work i use to shoot the apprentice... one's a maverick (they're about $8 at target) and the other is a recon cs6 - the maverick is by far the simplest to modify, but the cs6, while a bit of effort to modify, easily shoots a standard nerf dart over 25m =) it leaves a red mark if you hit skin at 1m or closer (not a welt though).

We have draws full of all sorts of Nerf guns and bullets and regularly play Nerf wars with the kids (with standard guns .... at the moment ;) ) but a word of warning if I may .... make sure you all have eye protection on particularly if you modify your gun.

Nothing will ruin the fun quicker than almost blinding one of your own kids

Re: Toy guns.....

Our house is also a regular nerf war zone. Silence is often broken by the sound of nerf bullets whistling through the air.

Dad couldn't have been happier with this shot:

Could think of much worse fates. At least the father and husband get along,

Getting ideas: modify my gun, modify Amelia's, don't modify Jeremy's, issue the challenge. He'll never know what hit him. Go girl team!

ShortyIQ lol Emma.
ShortyIQ lol Jess.

I watched one of the vids on pootube, and most of the comments were saying that they followed the instructions onn the vid, and their gun broke after doing the mods.

I think we will just leave ours stock for now, still fun.

Toby got a maverick for his bday, I picked up 2 more of them for 6bucks, with bullets, and the girls are getting 1 each for xmas.
Im going to run around the house like Woody Harrellson in Zombieland.
