Mad Mad Mad Every water crossing l do gets the carpet in the front floor wet under drivers left foot & pass right foot, have searched in & out. Have lifted the carpet for a look but stuffed if l know. All of a sudden this has started, 5 years old & never been wet before now its starting to smell. Very frustrating. Mad Mad Mad

remove all youre carpets, so you can see the bare floor, and......hmmmmm.....take it for a drive through a water crossing and see if the water is seeping in around the seam welds in the floor, or through any other sorts of places.

I think ages ago Roly found a spot somewhere where there was no rubber grommet, cant remember that was few yrs ago, try the Patrol4wd list on yahoo groups.

its not coming in around the gearstick hole is it ?
would explain the wet patches on either side of the trans tunnel.

either that or you missin a couple of grommets.... somewhere you can get some from clarke rubber they have a shit load of sizes to choose from

the kick panels have large holes in them and the water comes up and soaks thru the sponges that are there to try ans stop dust...

other area is the front seat mounting bolts let water thru.......
