This arvo I started to experiment with cut tread patterns for my Juggy tyres. After a few variations, I came back to a pattern almost identical to what I did on the cut MudCow tyres.

They are V.chunky. The tread is about 1.5mm deeper than Clod tyres (the lugs are about 7mm high). Where I shaved the remainder of the cut tread blocks down, the tyre is now very soft and moulds well to the surface. So much so that I will probably have to run foams to give them some structure.

They are looking very promising so far.

I'll post more pics when i have finished this tyre.

Yeah, just perfect for a blend of soft stuff and rock. They will dig themselves to China in no time. They are very agressive.

They look even better in the flesh.

I'm curious how they perform in comparison to the Clod tires.....they seem a little stiffer. Was thinking of getting rid of my Jugg tires.

Being from Arizona, I had to look up what "arvo" meant.....afternoon Laughing

It's the depth of the tread blocks that makes Jugg tyres so stiff, not the compond so much. I had the same thing with my TC tyres on Rockhead. Once I cut them they were great. (I'LL do a better job next time :-))

I think these ones will flex quite nicely but the advantage will be in the tread depth too.

The mechanical traction due to the lugs hooking up on rock edges etc will be impressive. I hope the Juggy rubber compound grips as well as the Clod rubber.

Hang around here for a while Jay and you will pick up a bit of the lingo mate heh heh.

Thats what i have been doing to mine Jk, but maybe not so aggressive .
I want mine to be able to give the truck enough support to hold it up without foams but to conform to the shape of the rocks.
Or maybe i will just get some more Jumbo Claws off the nice guys at Monster Truck Parts Australia .I have heard they are really nice guys Very Happy
