I am considering buying a 1999 to 2001 model Discovery but am not sure about a V8 or a TD5. Price wise a V8 is heaps cheaper, about $5000 so i don't know if its worth it just for the fuel saving. Can anyone let me know what they get on fuel economy for their standard 3.9 V8 Discovery?
Also, are all the options like the discent control, traction control, ACE & the air suspension good for off road action or more on road use? I would only use the car for about 20% offroad use oand nothing too serious. Any help on what to look for and what to buy would be great.
