The easiest way is to swap in a disc brake axle from an HZJ75. Same width, spring perch distance, parking brake cables, etc.
Harder yet is to make a plate and space it just right so you can bolt on rear calipers off a 79-81 Supra with built in parking brakes, and use solid rotors from a Hilux front attached to your hubs by longer wheel studs. The parking brake arrangement is different than a 73 series, harder to make it work.

falcon calipers run the handbrake in the them as well.
Why not use 80 series rear disc set up and not use the drum on the inside for the handbrake and make a t-case mounted disc and go kart cable operated caliper for the handbrake. |

BJ, What did you get that setup off of? I havent been able to find anything to 'bolt onto' a 60 yet. Contemplating a 80 rear axle tho. |

I made the kit, it uses the same rotors and discs as the back, well it was made by a dude down here a few years ago, he stopped makin them, it works a treat but was difficult to do, cause the back of the hub needed a slight machining to fit perfectly on the disc.
I have an 80 axle here, needs some parts, and im trying to sell it.

Both I believe. They use chev discs and calipers. |
