Duals!!!

It doesn't matter how you look at it the Duals always have more benefits!

Strength..Dual cases have very liitle problems! The only thing that can realy bust is a stock t-case gear set, cheap to fix!
Durability... You still have all the normal gears aswell as LOW LOW!
Fitting.... Its just as easy to fit a dual case as fitting a Rock Hopper T-case and its a lot easier than fitting the gears!
Coolness.. it looks cool when someone see's the extra shifter!

The only place a Gear-set may out do a Dual set-up is the cost!

The actual cost of a adaptor is similar to the gear-set but you need to get an extra t-case (not very expensive) and you'll need drive shaft modifications!

However to me the Dual is a far better set-up

buy both, sit them on your bedroom floor for about 12 months, contemplate what to do, then think about it some more, get a second t-case and then think about it again.

totally agree with POS...

i was gunna go rockhoppers but a few mad QLD'ers changed my mind The Finger

in some places the reduction u get from gears is 2 low but high range is 2 high wot do u do ?? if u had duals u can select normal low and away u go.....

but on the other hand a dual setup will b lower in double low than a gear set will be so really u have the best of both worlds going duals........

the only downside i can c is the cost is higher......

but i think there r way more pros than cons Very Happy

Duals Smile If I ever started fresh on a new toy, the duals would almost be the first addition

Rockhoppers - reverse options can be the biggest prob !!!

You just fit a gearstick boot to it.

This depends on which gearbox you are using. With a G52 you use one forward and one top shift but with a W56 you use two top shifting cases. And with both petrol and desiel 4 spds you use 2 top shifting cases.

Yes if its the same gearbox it is a G52. Did you buy the dual case set up off him as well?
