Hello all,

second question on this topic maybe the first was a little vague.

Is the transfer case on an early 5sp Jackeroo intergrated??
If so does anyone know what the overall length is of the transmition transfer combo.

This question is to see if we can replace the 5sp behind the 4fb1 Isuzu motor that we installed into a suzuki sierra. If it is intergrated and no longer than the current five speed we will have a dual transfer case diesel powered suzuki sierra.

cheers

James

Hi James,

I'm not sure if this is the case with the entire Jackaroo gearbox/transfer range, but on later models (MUA transmission) the manual transmission is integrated and the auto version divorsed. This has lead to some guys in the US experimenting with attaching the t-case from the auto version to the back of the manual version. Here is a couple of links to this:

Hope this helps at all...

Cheers,

Noel
