Can I do a Landcrusier to Hilux axle conversion. The aim is to get stronger axles and CV's

What cruiser diff were you thinking of Question
80s are the only ones with bigger c.vs & 100s
Just put longs in the front.

I was thinking 75 series. I had heard Lux's where prone to shapping CV's so I thought a 75 series transplant would be stronger.

75series run the identical CV to a hilux. HZJ75 run a slightly larger CV but i dont beleive it to be any stronger.

I agree with ruff.

Just go and buy some Longfields, well worth it once you have them.

Thanks guys that puts that mith down the drain. Its amazing the BS you get told. So that means a lux is as strong as a cruiser, how do they compare to a Patrol?

Nah its not for the zook its fine, I was thinking of getting a dual cab lux for the extra room. I have been thinking about a few options say buy a good one or a sh#ter and rebuild to my specs.
