let me say, right at the start, to get it out in the open, without beating around the bush, I am a nose-picker. I am always digging for that extra golden crunchy nugget - from the big morning ones that have built up all night, to the regular pickings through the day. But what I haven noticed lately is that I have a LOT more boogers to pick. I had a big cold a few months ago, with the requisite runny nose and stuff, and I don't know if it's related to that, but lately I'm finidng that at any given moment if the day or night I can stick a finger in my snout and pull out a gem, just like Jack Horner sticking his thumb into Christmas pie. Is it the weather? The tail end of the cold I had? Or have the booger gods just chosen to bless me with an exceptional abundance of dried snot? Does anyone have a more scientific explanation?
PS when I was in primary school, I used to wipe them under my desk, until one day I cut myself on a dried out one. These days I just gobble them up - after all recycling is an accepted part of society now. |

A bit of house cleaning is necessary daily but you should offer your blessings to many people. Eating it is for 4yo's, flick it at a friend and show em ya luv them |

I would rather confess to being a trade unionist than a nose picker

research has shown picky and eating is good for your health in the long run cause it gives your body a chance to develop anti-body and an immune response to a small amount of bacteria etc that is normally filtered in the nasal hairs.
But i dont eat................... unless its one of this bnig goobers you get when your sick, and its stuck in the back of the your throat and you have to hock it up... i may swallow that if its inappropriate to spit |

I find nose picking to be a most enjoyable way to pass time. But I have a rule - once it's out, it stays out!
Mind you, when a decent sniff produces a large soft chewy chunk - that's something special to be savoured!
Of course, there's another form of mucous I find even more enjoyable.
Cheers,
Scott |

pft c'mon, everyone does it, it's perfectly natural. I don't eat the black gritty ones that I get after a day of welding and grinding though. |

Top doc backs picking your nose and eating it
Picking your nose and eating it is one of the best ways to stay healthy, according to a top Austrian doctor.
Innsbruck-based lung specialist Prof Dr Friedrich Bischinger said people who pick their noses with their fingers were healthy, happier and probably better in tune with their bodies.
He says society should adopt a new approach to nose-picking and encourage children to take it up.
Dr Bischinger said: "With the finger you can get to places you just can't reach with a handkerchief, keeping your nose far cleaner.
"And eating the dry remains of what you pull out is a great way of strengthening the body's immune system.
"Medically it makes great sense and is a perfectly natural thing to do. In terms of the immune system the nose is a filter in which a great deal of bacteria are collected, and when this mixture arrives in the intestines it works just like a medicine.
"Modern medicine is constantly trying to do the same thing through far more complicated methods, people who pick their nose and eat it get a natural boost to their immune system for free."
He pointed out that children happily pick their noses, yet by the time they have become adults they have stopped under pressure from a society that has branded it disgusting and anti social.
He said: "I would recommend a new approach where children are encouraged to pick their nose. It is a completely natural response and medically a good idea as well."
And he pointed out that if anyone was really worried about what their neighbour was thinking, they could still enjoy picking their nose in private if they still wanted to get the benefits it offered. |

Ok.
So who has a slash while you're having a shower?
And while were at it, does anyone sniff their undies to see if you can get another day out of them?
Has anyone ever given THEMSELVES a dutch oven?
..........or used toenail clippings for tooth pics? |

I pee in the shower all the time, normally while I'm washing me hair
I don't sniff my boxers but I always remember I can wear em four times anyway. I do sniff my socks if my missus says my feet smell
My missus knows when Im waking up cause the bed starts rumbling and she often has to get out |

of course - forwards, backwards, inside out forwards, inside out backwards. during winter you can almost get 2 days out of each side so you only need fresh grundies once a week! |
