The basic car kit cost $329 thats just the car itself
I had to add all the extras like ESC (electronic speed control)
Batteries/radio gear and the mashers and pinions
Maybe to get started try a kit i guess some shops will bundle it together cheaper but you can get crap radios/batteries then |

More updates on the dagger
it now sports two 19x2 Orion motors
Its quite a bit faster:)
have been playing with the 18tooth pinions and tommorow I will be trying to 20t pinions - hopefully the 19x2's will have the torque I need.
So far its pretty fast - and should climb some hills better
cheers

Hey looks good Matt.
I have seen it before......did you post a pic of it somewhere else. Maybe even on this bb ?
I have always wanted a Wild Dagger, just as a play thing. I've heard great reports about using the NOVAK EVX speedie in them and converting them to hold two batteries. The 19 doubles will RIP, you may find that they get hot using the 20T if your doing any hillclimbs but top speed should be STUPID !
Let us know how it goes. |

Hey guys
I havent run it with the 20's yet :( havent had the time..
With the 18s it was pretty good - worse prob is my batteries are crapola.
I need to buy some new ones, and some deans connectors i'm sick of cleaning and straightening my tamiya connectors
as for the clod - I dont have it ATM when I get it back you can come take a look |

mlowe76,
If you need any parts generic RC parts eg radio gear etc, PM me as I have a fair bit laying around. Something like 10 matched battery pack costing between $60-100 although they haven't been used for a while. 2 x 16 quad motors, 1x 11 turn tripple mod motor, batt dischargers, um......and other stuff. Do you know where to buy new RC parts and stuff in Brisbane these days? |

18 hours is fricken stupid! If you're only buying tandy batteries just use a direct connection to a car battery for anout 15 mins but don't forget that it's on there, otherwise use some sort of peak charger running off a car battery or alternatively, buy a car battery charger for about $20-30 and use it as your power supply source for your charger so you can then plug it all into a regular 240V outlet. |

I buy most my stuff from either Hobbyone at mtgravvat as they are good service.
Or hobby rama at stafford - they seemed to of gotten better as they stupid staff have left
Or theres heaps of online places that are cheap - and one that I buy from thats very reliable and honest is radiomodels.com.au
As for your rc parts you got left there - anything you wanna sell ?
I'm keen on some batts and the 16 quads maybe - so far the 19doubles are kinda slow, I reckon the stock tin cans had heaps more torque (as they do apparently) less top end speed, but more grunt in the dirt.
