New Rodeo is due out in March.
Interesting that the torsion bar independent front setup is being replaced with independent coils... Gotta be an improvement.

It would be nice to think so Greazy, but the Jackaroo has been a pretty poor seller for Holden for years now unlike the Rodeo which is still up there in the utility market. Isuzu 4x4 production is winding down in Japan but I believe that the new Rodeos are to be produced in Thailand.

The end of the Jackaroo is nigh... Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Yep, the end of the Jack is nigh. Suppose to be replaced by the Ascender. Which looks like a Chev S-10 sorta thing. Looks like the HEUI 3.0TD Is a gonner too. Maybe they will bring it out in the F'terra....

Like the Rodeo though. Wonder if the front end bits will fit the F'terra as the chassis is very simular....

Had a look at the New Rodeo yesterday and found torsion bar independant front end. The chassis looks identical to the old R8 model.
Bugger no coil conversion for the Fterra!!!!!!

M<aybe the LT Sport has them?????

"If you want economy and don't need the power of a big V6, the new Rodeo also comes with a handy 2.4 litre petrol engine on all 4x2 DX models. This 4 cylinder Rodeo offers 94Kw at 4,800rpm and a handy 207Nm at 3,200rpm. While economical, it can still handle large loads. Best of all, Rodeo is the only truck in its class with coil spring independent front suspension. This system provides the 4x2 DX with car-like ride and handling."

May have mis-read it slightly. Looks like only the 4 cylinder gets the coils.
Would probably be a bit light weight for conversion to the V6... but worth looking at.
