If they are worn out or contaminated, shop press.
If you want to just add grease remove axles and pump grease past inner seal carefully using a pin nozzle.

With the axles out you can add grease to the outer bearing but there are 2 inner bearings to 1 outer and unless you take the bearing of the shaft which requires a press you cant get grease to the inner bearing |

Yes Bruce,
as Bazz said, Press job to remove if they are worn but if they are ok and done carefully, you can add grease with the needle type fitting through the rollers. Whats wrong with the bearings? Noisy?

They will get hot around town. Brake heat.
On a long, long trip no brakes will get warm. If one is hot and one warm/cold then you have a prob , assuming pads not dragging.

yea my front hubs get that hot when unlocking the hubs, it takes ya fingerprints off...
the rear left is the one that gets hottest, compared to the right its coffee and ice. I had the rear brakes done in the last 2-3 months., so shouldnt be that.. it was a problem before that and still is. |

BUGGER
No noises?
They go for a while noisy but if one is getting hot it "may" breakdown. Might be time to slide it out for a feel... and ... replace

Nissan bearings are sealed with grease inside. You can add more if you want..
