Broke my first one tonight, driving up to Cheezy's factory after work. Braked hard at traffic lights and heard a bang. Didn't know what it was so took it easy for the rest of the trip (only a couple of minutes) and checked it out when I got to Cheezy's. Looking at the remains, it has been mostly broken for ages Shocked glad it happened when it did and I didn't wipe anyone out.

Everyone that ive spoken too has said that the ubolts on the drivers side of MQs are really common to break.

I never broke one at all before the SOA, but its interesting to hear under wat sorts of treatment they break under.

When I had mine I went and got some OME ones (ARB) bigger in diameter. No probs after that.Stamdard ones pretty skinny.

I broke a few on mine when it was sua. Ended up drilling through the bracing on the diff and ran u-bolts the same way as the passenger side and had no more probs.

Bought 2 new U-bolts from ARB yesterday, only $12 including washers and nuts, I was expecting them to cost more.
