will 33s go on a stock gu(wagon or ute) without rubbing..
will need to drive it a bit but not offroad..
got 33s here on rims but can get 31s without rims.. |

GU has a bigger wheel arch than a GQ - should be able to fit if you're not going offroad in it. |

patrolman runs 33" coopers and 33" BFG muddies on a stock height GU 3ltr turbo diesel, and it goes quite well  |

I ran 35" Claws on the standard steel rims on my GU coil cab for a couple of days while the lift went in with no real rubbing issues on-road |

1 more Q.will 15 inch rims fit on current gu utes...i heard a while ago about bigger brakes.......maybe that was only the 4.8 petrol |

i run 15" rims on mine, the only problem with it is stuff gets caught up between the rim and the brake rotor backing plate. so piss em of no more problem

better just go 16s.
i had the problem with my GQ on 15s, i had to rip the backing plate off, because of a little accident with a failing jack
i got my JTs on 15s and bought them off some guy who just bought a GU and he didnt like the room between the rim becasue of stuff getting caught in there, so he sold em to me  |

you havent seen Stu's truck... very VERY nice sweet GU Ute, runnin 35x15 boggers last time I heard. Works on 15s backing plates are annoying, mine rattle like stink, phuckin annoying sittin there at the lights with the bacon next to you...
