Had a quick look at this the other day and it looks like a hell of a hard job.
It may of just been the flares i looked at ( 6" dont know the brand) but
if i have to cut the firewall to make them fit then i will stay with the stock CJ ones.

Anybody know of a easier ( and cheep) way of covering my MTR's Question Question

Links would be of help too Smile

Cut the firewall Question
Shouldn't have to...You do have to cut a fair bit from the guard - but you shoulcn't need to touch the firewall....

The fronts can be a little tricky to get right from what I hear

you dont have to cut the firewall but you do get damn close and I have herd of some people even needing to fold back the seem

do a google search there are heaps of write ups on how to do this

the opther option is YJ fronts and TJ rears or YJ front and rear

There is less cutting needed for the YJ flares and they fitt the front better as they had the same wheel arch pannels as a CJ

I run tj flares on my cj but i have pit yj guards on as well. The yj guards offer more clearance then the cj.I also had to mod the guards to make them fit

BJ

in AUS they are like Hens teeth but it is easy enough to order them in and most how stock TJ flares should be able to order yj flares
