Bitsamissin this is a cool one, but a bit high, but like i heard some times "4X4 isn't suppost to be beautiful, it is suppost to be looking like a beast, visious and wild"(may have some spelling faults in it)
tritonasuras this one is cool as well, but isn't it a bit low at the center........well, i don't know but it looks cool and thats all isn't it?
p.s Bitsamissin if you want a race, i'll give you race, just ask, here in iceland we have most of ours 4X4 hevilly modified so there is no problem to find a lot to race ya, (reddy, steddy, go ) |

First Paj is great for the wife to get the kids, second one for the tufftruck and comp circuit and the triton for the work truck.....
However, what were they thinking when they mounted the winch...(1st pic).. The worst and most ugly slap on job ive seen in a while...
Then again, any vehicle can look cool with 8 inch body blocks...
Ill choose........ contestant number 2...
A Real paj is judged by the way it makes toyota and nissan owners jaws drop... |

So how are these Gen 3s lifted? Is it as simple as spacers between suspension subframes and body, new rear trailing arm mounts, longer rear shocks/front struts and new f/r tailshafts? Here's hoping.

Good to see our Scandanavian friends posting here.
From the pics I've seen you guys go for the biggest tyres you can get and trim the guards with a body lift to get them to fit. This no doubt is for plugging in heavy/deep snow.
Another guy from Norway says his friend has a twin Mitsu t/case set up and runs 38"s
How do you guys go for gearing (4.88 or 5.29's) ??
Welcome to the forum guys..................... |

the gearing just depends on the viechal, some go even lower than 4,75 (4,88 if you aren't picky )
and the big tyres aren't just fitted by bodylifting, we cut as well some of the body around the tyres away, and often move the rear axels further back (if it's solid axels that is)
and if you thought i was from norway, i am from iceland, not sure if you did, but better save than sorry or..........what ever |
