one of the other forums i frequent has a "Vids & Pics" section for this exact reason... and you can put [youtube]LINK[/youtube] tags on to display the vid within the forum too...

I like it, I dont get time to troll through hundreds of vids to see the good ones & my tube time is limited to 1 hour at work so I have to use it wisely.

phpBB can handle youtube links as well if that's desired. But is it?

I think cramming them into one thread might not be a bad idea.

But then... it depends on my mood. Sometimes I just wait for a few comments before I bother clicking the link. Maybe the rule should be that if you post a youtube link you have to provide a short, honest description of what's in it, not just a . teaser in the subject line.

About a year back I was constantly editing thread tittles that were just video related to have the prefix of " [vid] " at the start.
It eventually worked that most posters were doing this themselves, sadly its now back to what it was before.

Most of them are crap Mad

Most of them I'll get via email anyway Rolling Eyes

I havent clicked on a posted vid from this forum for ages now, nor do I intend to.......
