gday all,
have a GME tx 3420 with the remote head and dont know where to mount the actual radio unit itself, the head unit is fine, any suggestions where to mount it? cant see any good spots in under the dash and i dont have much room in there. Currently it us mounted under the dash on a mounting screw that holds the dash together

You reminded me that I need to move mine... Bloke I bought it off had it fitted in the same position you'd usually see trailer brakes (just above drivers left knee) - Its hell on the knee when off road. Don't put it there. Smile

Under the drivers seat and run the wires under the console to the head unit.

That's what I did on my GU.

My uhf sits on the dash next to the instrument cluster, the am is in the centre console, wouldn't recommend putting anything under the seats in case water gets in one day..which it has done. Rolling Eyes

It should fit inder the centre console. Easy access through the rear panel where the ashtray is. Mine fits in there perfect. Used velcro to hold it down.
