Battery and Stop lights on dash come on while driving

Hi guys ,just wondering if any one could shed some light on this problem,I've got a GQ with a VN V8 in it ,now my batt. and stop light on the dash come on evey now and then for a few seconds or more when driving then goes off,it happens a few times and then some times not at all ,it's got a new battery ,new alt. , all wires seem to be tight, new belt, it's probably something simple,could it be that the regulator is on it's way out and it dosen't have an aux battery ,not yet anyway.Any info would be great.
