Hi all just wondering if anyone can help me out. Had some panel repairs and fuel tank replaced on my car recently and when I picked it up the engine light come on and the engine started missing running out of whack no power (retarted). If I start the car it Idles fine rev 1 - 2000rpm fine then rev to 3000rpm, engine light comes on motor acts retarted and blows massive ammounts of white smoke out the exhaust. I have had the smash repairers chassing up this problem. Dropped it off running perfect and now bairly running. Mechanics first diagnostic mouisture in fuel line flushed and fixed, still the same. Next diagnostic wiring harness for crank sensor corroaded cleaned and fixed, still the same. Now car is down at a Deisel injector mob and the latest diagnostic is pointing towards fuel pump. Can anyone shed some light on this matter or has had similar problem. |

Had a similar drama recently (300kms from home at 5am ). Check you fuel filters firstly , that was the main prob with mine even though a NISSAN DEALERSHIP had fully serviced it 500kms previously. After that there is a small "brass" filter inside the injector pump check/remove it, its just underneath the main fuel line in but be careful as not to drop it Your symptoms are identical to the dramas i was haveing .............. |
