ive a 96 2.8td lwb pajero and im after a ball joint flip kit for the front what are you guy's views on these and were can i get them from

There is no 'kit' required as all you need is 6 x 10mm bolts to replace the 8mm bolts currently in there.
Then you must get a wheel alignment as you will be driving like \ /
Details of the flip are HERE
To do a BJ flip + spacer is where you need new bolts + new bolts to mount the upper wishbone to the chassis + the spacer machined up.
I'd just do the flip only. |

Hi guys Im just trying to work out this ball joint flip thing as this photo below looks the same as I have now on my car now, apart from the bolts Whats actually been flip and how much extra travel should you get from this mod.

Compare this picture to yours and you'll see.
You really need to look at yours to see. The ball joint is bolted to the bottom of the arm instead of dropping through it as it comes from factory. As it is bolted to it this is why you put bigger bolts in.

i fliped my upper ball joints, but the wheels camber in quite badly
did you have tyo space out the lower wisebones? can it be done?? |

if ive worked it out right you shim the top arm out to correct it |

looking at my truck front on the wheels are like this \ /
pushing the top arm out wouldnt that make it worse? |

if i rember right if you space the top wish bone out it is in fact moving it towards the engine i sure someone else can conferm this |

Yep thats it, on my challenger i needed around 8mm of spacer to correct the camber.
I actually got it aligned, and they use multiple thin shims to get it right, then i pulled them out and made a set out of some bar steel. Stopped me breaking upper control arm bolts.
