While the headlines surrounding next week’s G8 summit mostly concern climate change and development in Africa, there’s also a new international plan for piracy measures being discussed, which could have a dramatic effect on international file sharing.

Excellent movie, I've already archived it several times and made sure I keep copies all around, just in case of fire or the like - wouldn't want my only archive to be destroyed |

It won't stop it & I cannot see why the don't embrace downloading as a way to make money.
I would gladly pay for each episode of Stargate Atlantis or Dr Who if I could download it legally on its release day.
As it is some people hire a movie then copy it or copy others music cd's how are they going to catch them unless they get a tip off or just randomly raid homes. |

Australia is so far behind the rest of the world as far as tv shows go. If only people actually knew what shows the rest of the world are watching months in advance and some of the mini series that does not even get aired in aus. Our tv stations are crap and i don't like being told what to watch when to watch it. I would happily pay say $1 or $2 per ep to watch it when it suits me. That said they can never stop it for many reasons that will take to long to explain. Just my 2 cent worth, most prob wont agree but they are the ones who don't actually know what its all about. That said i am going to watch the latest Dr Who |
