Hi my dad has a 1998 cherokee sport and he wants to raise it as its pretty low at the moment and he does slight off roading and just wondered what a sensible lift is for one of these its front coil and rear leaf. Thanks Tim

does the 3.5'' kit require any other mods like brake lines or anything? Hes not a real serious 4wder but would like it a little higher than it is he realises it will never keep up with our rovers but hed like it to be capable

What size tyres does he plan to run?
And how much $$ is he looking to spend?

30" Can go stock, 44"s will require a bit more work Wink

he has like 235/70*15 at the mo but is planning on getting 31's for playing on weekends nothing more i know we might have to trim the front edge of the sills as they look close now

31's will be fine in regard to the ends of the sills as long as they are on stock wheels. You will need to extend the bumpstops a touch but that should be about it with a 2" lift. I didn't start trimming until I went to 32X11.5.
