OK, last night dad was out side having a smoko when a xmas beeltle flew into his ear the beetle started burrowing into his farking head, no joke it went in deep! in agony dad (homer) was screaming like a banchee I've never heard a bloke scream like that before,
" AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH, AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRHHHG, AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!! fark it's crawing into my farking brain, fark AAAARRRRR! Call a farking ambulance " (his face was red he was rolling on the ground the dog was running around in circles, it scared the shit out of me and mum who were half asleep, mum put the vaccum on his ear trying to suck it out, didn't work! So I rushed him to the hospital. On the way he was shaking and paranoid (my dad is like a child!!) " Holy fark Emma what the fark was that on the side of the road?" (A tyre tread) he thought it was an alien. Shaking, with blood trickling out of his ear I walked him in, the nurse tried not to smile. We waited for 40mins, doc took him in, sat him down, dad's on the bed shaking with fear, when the doc went out dad asked me if he was going to die, then - "will it crawl into my brain?" he was seriously in shock he said that this will have long term effects on him, he told me he's going to grow his hair over his ears and when he get's home he's going to kill every xmas beetle
The nurses came in to comfort poor Homer calling him the beetle man, and patting him on the head. Doc could'nt get the bug out so he drowned it in anaesthetic, and sent Homer home.
We got back at 2:30 in the morning, dad went to bed with a look of faded shock on his face.
He's gone to the specialist now to get the beetle removed, I can't beleive what happened it was THE MOST FREAKY THING I HAVE EVER SEEN and it was soooooooo funny so a warning to anyone with big ear holes- look out for the xmas beetle it's on the hunt for a home and it might be you! |

yes bj i got this off the internet...
Do Do Not
You may tilt your head and fill ear with clean water to drown the insect.
However if you have ear discharge then DO NOT do this.
If insect is still alive than put sterile olive oil to drown it.
Visit your ENT specialist as early as possible for removal of insect.
Do not throw light into ear, this will frighten the insect and it will go deeper in the ear.
Do not try to remove the insect by forceps or any other object. You may get your ear damaged.
Do not let quacks remove the insect at your home.
Do not panic. |

he would probably beleive that too!
It must have been really painfull, beetles have those sharp little legs that stick to your skin, but a bee would be worse |

I never thought of that. it should be a sticky in the general tech.
doing this right now...
If I put alfoil on my monitor and my keyboard will this also stop the aliens and the government from seeing what I do on the internet? |

Could be a marketing opportunity here :-
"Flapper Guards" for those poor buggers that are born with extroadinary large ear holes.
Could be a fine lightweight mesh that is moulded to the shape of your ear and just slips on for when you want to go outside.
Could be marketed in something like the Innovations home order catalogue |
