no matter how much I read about Tom Kruse (go the padders), it never ceases to amaze me how they did the Birdsville mail run in a 1936 Leyland Badger for all that time...

Makes ya wonder why people complain about corrigations on the road to the cape etc, would be like a hwy compared to back then!
