Hopefully soon with our GQ. Want to set it up for more touring stuff. Don't know about a month in the desert but maybe a month in the High Country or touring OZ. |

Considering most racks have a 60-70kg limit, thats probably only 100kg over! |

Its not the rack thats the problem.. Look at the material Gutters are made of.. Chicken wire at best...
Ive seen photos of blokes in Sydney club come back with no gutters, and one bloke ripped the Pillar apart with too much shit on a rack, over corrigations... |

well they must be un lucky is all i can say.. cause weve done 50 thousand Kms touring with that shit on the lid and its all sweet..
its the only way to do the canning in an 80 series other than petrol dumps, in which case u gota be able to take on board a full 44 or leave the rest behind.. we chose to carry our fuel instead.. put 1 jerry in every 150 kms or so.. so i spose we only had full load on for 150.. then 4 cans for another 150, ..then 3 then 2 then 1 then all the jerries gone.. only had 2 tires on roof.. cant fit 3.. 1 was underneith.. |
