Gday guys i just brought a uniden radio uhf from arb and for some reason i can only transmit on channel 5 and 35 but recive on any chanel what could this be thanks daniel. |

How do you know you're transmitting on 5 & 35, but nothing else?
Channel 5 is the "Emergency" channel, and channel 35 is the "transmit" channel for using Ch. 5 in duplex mode.
Are you sure you're not just accessing a ch. 5 repeater? |

ahh cause i used the hand held which when i spoke into that every chanell work in reciveing bout when i transmit it would on recive on the handheld on 5 and 35 and i try to ask people while the radio is on that i can hear talking bout i never get a person talking back |

sounds like u have selcall on  blocks out all radios kinda thing so u have a private convo with some one but u can hear everyone else |
