Try cleaning the air flow meter, and of course put a new air filter in it.
If you are running a reuseable filter, clean your air flow with some sort of contact or carb cleaner as the oil from the filters gets stuck on the airflow meters. |

THe 02 sensor in in the exhaust pipe located near the gear box it has a 4 wire connector to itand can be stubborn to get out TIP you dont need to but from mitsi cost is around $800 go to repco get for 150 or so can even get them on ebay ...these may require you to wire them up but are basic.
search is your friend I'm sure you will find help with it here

Cleaning the air flow is just a matter of taking the air box off (between air filter and motor) there is a small diode on the inside top use an old soft tooth brush with water to begin with maybe a bit of degreaser I dont think scrubbing the thing with harsh solvents is likely to do it any good |

After replacing theox sensor in my NF I had about 3 L per 100 k better ecnomy. (didnot notice any differance in power)
I got my sensor off ebay (from a gut in Ringwood melb). It has to be 4 wire, plus I had to work out the colour code change.
Is you vehicle a manual or auto, if auto is it changing gears correctly? |

Take it to mec they will remove them and ultra sonic clean them.
DONT get talked into on car cleaning its cheaper and easier, but ud be better giving your money to a homless bum.
most vehicles could do with inj service every 100k, i got to get mine done soon |
