pajero gearbox in to a 03 l200?

hi chaps,

does any body know if there is any differance in the pajero gearbox and the l200 box?

they look the same, would they swap over??

im thinking superselect im my l200 and electronic overdrive which it seems most pajeros have?

Really need to know what size motor. Is it a 2.5 deisel?
If you were changing manual boxes the V5MT1 out of a 97 era Pajero would fit.. If yours is an auto I believe it runs V4A51 box . Can't find any info of which Pajero's run that box.

mines a 2.5 4D56. transmission model V5MT1-4.

was just curious as the boxes look the same, put paj has superselect so would have 4x4 on paved roads and some have the electric overdrive which would be nice Laughing

take it they should mate to the engine the same if it comes out of a 2.5 but not sure on box mounts,

just curious as i know they are very simular
