Jesus Christ! thats a land speed record gearing, not crawling
9t Pinion and 87t spur on most of my setups in the past. |

Let me put this into words you understand, Spur is the big one, pinion is the little one..... Get your info right |

Either way, get the lowest pinion count you can, 8t is a good start.
And then get the highest spur gear you can 103+is good.
Then run a 3-1 reduction box .
Most truck's around now rely on wheel speed to over come poor designs, get the truck right then you will not need wheel speed .

Too get lower gearing you have to go a more teeth on the spur and a less teeth on the pinion
Why would you go a 87t spur when it is 90t standard
Some very simple calculations-
9t pinion and 87t spur= 9.6:1
9t pinion and 90t spur= 10:1
is that info right enough for ya |

Depends on how much you want to spend, my WK has cost me about $500 all up that is including buying the truck and its fairly capable.
Whats yours worth? |

Sloshy, too much mate too much .
Mind you the combo i said was quite cheap when i ran it because i went to 48 pitch gears, they are a lot cheaper and easier to get than 32p, and the reduction box was less than $30, and i only ran a silver can .
