Managed to removed the rest of bolt no worries...but..
Do I need to buy genuine (as bolt shop can't help me).
Or if not where does one pick up a replacement? |

which engine, the bolts on late v8s are stretch bolts that cant be reused. For an early v8 you could try a wrecker or get genuine, or ebay UK. The best is definitely an ARP stud kit though. |

little bro just had the same prob with a 300tdi head bolt. |

Thanks for that, ebay UK had no responses to questions and none listed and local land rover dealer reckoned non there or head office, Karcraft came through. $105 or thereabouts. |

Couldn't find anyone (VPW etc) that had a listing for ARP stud kit for a rover v8. |

They dont make them for Rover, according to ARP, as one supplier here told me, but they do make them for Buick 215, which is the same engine  |
