I want to get back into an electric RC after almost 20 years.

I had a Tamiya Blackfoot and a Kyosho Progress as a kid.

Looking for something just to play with and off road a bit with my boy who is just a toddler.

What do you guys recommend?

Hi Lockee,

I'd wait for the FJ40 from tamiya as a personal choice.

However, I personally like the HPI wheely King 4x4.

I picked one up for $345 complete Ready to Run kit.

I'm slowly modding it to be as capable as my CLOD for rock crawling however stock its a hoot with my 3y.o and 2y.o boys, they love to watch it.

And so does their dad, ME Smile

have a look at them perhaps they will suit your needs, maybe check out youtube, search for wheely king, theres heaps of vids to show you what they can do.

Thanks
Matt

April is the relese date in the US, the rest of the World about 4 week's later, BUT the Aussie Importer's will bring it in when it suits them and it will be PRICEY cussing .

Order one from the US, Stormerhobbies has them for $319.00+post, that is the cheapest price yet Very Happy .
