I followed a link to the offroad rigs website, and this is what i found.

The board to add your name to the list of people interested in throwing heads together to hold a rally (not a Subaru WRX style rally - more like the 'chain yourself to a tree' kinda rally) in Sydney to promote our issues with regards to track closures and access to 4wd areas.
The idea is to promote our views on access (in a responsible manner). It is still in the very early stages and we are just seeking interest at this point.
Please add your name, contact email address and a short message on your thoughts about 4wd access.

I'm all for getting into tracks... but looking like the "great unwashed" I draw the line there

Just remember fellas, just cause your not in sydney, doesnt mean you cant do a bit for the locals in in other states, you never know where they will organise the rally too, if its in canberra im sure some of yas could make it up.

I went to one years ago. It was held at Bathurst at the mountain race track...
Was a good day and at the end we all drove round the course, stopped and had every part of the track covered with 4x4's...

Got some good pics..

It was back when the "i fish and i vote" etc etc stickers started..
