What's the meaning of C223 on Jackaroo T/D motor ?

What's the meaning of C223 on Jackaroo T/D motor ?
Is this 2.2 or 2.8 litre T/diesel motor.
Looking at 1986 model Jackaroo and since the motor is not original
we trying to workout what is the size of the motor.

This is the 2.2L (2238cc) model. C223 is non-turbo C223-T Turbo.

the motor is standard in you range, maybe it has just been changed over? it is 2.2 l turbo diesel.

It is a turbo diesel . It supposed to be reconditioned unit but so far nothing but problems.
For some unknown reason engine looses oil and spits it out all over
the engine bay. Thru turbo somehow I believe.
Any reason why would this happen ?
