Down the shops today i have come across two cars im fairly keen on.

axial a10 scorpion -- $450 + $350 for controller, battery charger etc to make
it drivable

wheely king 4x4 -- $399 RTR

So for the cost of the axial i can get the wheely king with the gear.
the question is:

WILL I BE DISSAPOINTED IF I GET THE HPI Question

I was about to do a search on this very topic .. looks like I know what one to buy..
I can get one one ebay about $280 .. but delivery is about $50us .. so looks like I better get the one from the RC store.

But being a total RC newb, what else would you recomend that I buy at the sae time.. I assume I need a controller .. do I need to get batteries, rapid chargers etc

love_mud, Yep you will need all of the above mate, if you look around some Rc sites you can pick some good gear fairly cheaply to save a bit of coin Very Happy
