There's also the Billabong driver training place at LCMP. |

The club idea gets my vote too
That's how I did it. I haven't been to a meeting or a run in 2 years but I'm still a member. The training that they put me through was invaluable at the time. |

You could prolly learn more by going out with a few select people from this site , cost a whole lot less than a formal training school. |

God no. Someone with patience and experience in training people. There are thousands of people with specific background knowledge, but are unable to express it in a training environment. When I was studying for cert 4, I used a snatch recovery situation for my assessment. Very amusing...especially in a classroom environment...
Seriously, the clubs do a great job in qualified, 4wd specific training, but rightly so get peeved when people only join to receive training. I was studying to get into the 4wd driver training field, but the insurance nightmare put a hold on the viability of a lot of training schools. When you get your car, drop a line, we can organise a training day if you don't train with a club. |

Prolly wouldn't be the best time or place to learn effectively - too much bravado and so little time to plan out the modules. |

I dunno mate, Heather is bringing her Zook along to get some much needed practice offroad (has none basically at the moment). So there will be at least 1 car strolling around taking it very easy |

Murray, why haven't you taken her down to Ormaeu? I've trained heaps of people down there, lots of variety for different skills and levels. |
