Okay guys, I need a colour printer, one which is not too expensive, but really good quality (its for work so can range up a bit in the dosh department)

yep, used to be made by tektronix, fuji-xerox bought them out and now they are a bit cheaper.

nah it runs in frames, just click on printers, then check out eacjh printer. the "phaser" models are all solid ink.

did you try to laminate one of them?? that is funny as..
they get the shits cause it melts and runs through their machines!
it is waterproof though.

We had one of those here, call xerox and screw them for price, I would lease units like these as the service cost is included and you can get free black in for it (at least that is the deal we cut)

Produced really sweet results, high enough quality for use in advertising flyers, brochures, invitations, prints on heavy card well all in all a good unit

If found that the solid ink refils for the tektronix printers cost an absolute fortune...at work we were spending $4000 a month just on refills Shocked

They are running HP Colour lasers now...a lot cheaper and just as good quality..

I'll have to find the name of the place in victora, the rep we deal with is named Fernando ROFL..
Costs us .3 cents a page including the maintenance kit every 10,000 pages or whatever it is...

Call Xerox direct one of their greasy reps will call you back, try the
"Xerox Business Centre", West End/South Brisbane ask to speak to a
sales rep, then ask them to come to you and then they can talk to you about what you want, as I said again screw them down on the initial price

ours was $5150, but they have come down a LOT since xerox bought them.
