Hoping anyone here can help me.
Just bought a 99 GU Patrol.
When I engage 4WD, there is a clunking noise from the RH Front Hub, as the wheels are rolling.
Seems to be worse when rolling and decellerating ie; not so bad when accelerating.
To my knowledge, has never been offroad. Could it be a stuck locking Hub?
Can these things be repaired or need to be replaced.
Also, if anyone knows a good service centre in Melbourne's NE, would be greatful..

his brother runs a 4X4 shop out that way somewhere !!!
ON TRACK 4X4 .
as for your noise , is that wheel engaging , or not ??
sounds like a hub faulty , may just need cleaning & lube !!! |
