Hi everybody,
I'm on the case too, been reading the below article with interest.
I have '99 4.0 with K&N, Unichip and straight through exhaust.
I reckon it still has a stick lodged somewhere, but budget & sensibility is a concern.
I would like more low & mid, without losing much from top.
So I'm now looking into a bit of headwork & maybe a cam.
Other advice suggests simply cleaning out any dags & a good valve re-seat. No porting, no polishing.
I have a budget of about $1000, give or take $500.
There are plenty of cams out there - but which one would suit?
Brands, profiles?
Anyone to recommend for headwork in SE Qld?
Any experience & advice appreciated.
Thanks,
Hardy |
