Last weekend I torn off my rear ARB locker airline after backing into something submerged.
I have since checked the diff oil and there is no signs of water.
Do you think I need to get the centre pulled out and the workings of the Locker checked for water ? Comments please. |

Its not difficult and it doesn't cost much to change the oil in a diff... Just do it - in fact do it often if you are dunking your axles...
No need to pull the centre.
If its just the external line then hook it back up - lots of cable ties and you should be sweet. |

If water gets into the airline it wont get into the diff.
Put a few drops off oil in line, reconnect and operate a few times.
this will flush it thru.
ARB sells a heavy duty airline kit for the diff ends. Route along the flxible brake line if you can so snags are only in one place

Thanks guys,
Thats the answer I was hoping for. By the way the airline was cable tied to the brakeline, I almost lost that too |
