I have a 2LT equipped Bundera, and tried to remove the fuel tank. I undid the two holding straps underneath but it still wont budge. Is there anything else I cant see that needs to be undone? Pulled back my carpet and couldnt see any bolts under there.

Cheers

How bout the filler hose ,you didnt mention it lol.Is it the same as a 73 behind the rear axle and is it firm or do you have some movement?
Looked in my 60/70 series manual and it makes no mention of any bolts.According to the manual once the straps are undone it should come out.

Yeah I know about the hose Rolling Eyes , I havent undone it yet but the tank is absolutely stuck in there. I could get violent with it but i thought it would be best to check on here first so I dont break anything.

Thanks Rosco, will hammer a couple of wooden wedges between it and the floorpan to try and free it up.

dumbdunce: Im removing it to make sure I drain it properly as im conerting to petrol, also im going to have a look at the supply/return lines and pickup as I probably need to put bigger lines in. The supply line is suitable for a return diameter wise, but the return line diameter is absolutely tiny. My efi pump is 200L @ 5 bar Bosch 044, my surge tank pump is around 100L @ 4psi.

they just stick to the floor pan !!!!
pry it apart !!!
they use a "tar " type tape between the tank & the floor !!!!
