can anyone give me details on how to shorten a 85 4runner. websites with photos or tech drawings would be good

NICK on this forum did it to his.

85 runner will have the fibre glass rear.

Look for info on bobbing a hilux for the metal section and for the fibregalss section, cut and join it.

Nicks a poof he got someone else to do it for him,
Measure the front sliding window in the canopy thats how much you can remove if keeping the canopy.From memory its 14inchs, then decide where you wont to cut the back to take the 14inches out that will let you line it back up the easyest.one cut will be about six inches in front of the tail lights

thats an excellent price if it is drive in drive out.


I paid 500 and that included the roof chop and full respray.
