can anyone help me make some sense.
got a new diff centre as my old one was growling.
now i have grief.
no axels can be found to fit that centre and my housing.
im after the fine spline axels to fit the centre.
however i have an early model housing.
as i have spring over all the mounts would have to be redone to change housings??
what are my options?
im told i need a fine spline axel 175mm long with a 32mm flat?
however all the wreckers say they only come in a 25mm flat??
all you 40 nuts i need help.
what can i do??

a whole front axle /diff assmebly would cost you between 50 and 300 bucks pending where you get it..
As far as changing the SPOA is concerned.. GET TO IT ! not hard

Are you talking front or rear ?
I have a diff centre out of an early 40 (looks new) and I also have front and rear axles (both long and short side).
Might even be able to get a hold of my old 40 housings (already sprung over)
