Hey all....im fairly new to the 4wd world!
i have just bought myself a 88 lux singel cab
its got a few mods... but im up for rego an the front left is sagging...i have sent the leaf springs to get reset...but now the shocks i had are to short for the new ride hieght...the suspenion bloke rekons to go for the rancho 5 series not the adjustable ones....any opinions on these?
i have seen lots of advertisments for them...they seem to be good.
the 4by currently has 32" rubber...i would liek to try an fit 35" muddys...wot sort of body lift would be needed? i dont know wot the lux has already but its defintly higher than normal! is there a easy way of finding out or just take it to the suspion blokes?
Now just another question... daily drives from the sydney area? im in south of sydney an have been out boat harbour(gets boaring quickly) but good to learn wot gers etc to be in...Menai is good but ive been told im not aloud out there and its expensive if u get caught....
Just curious on places to go that arnt hours drive away... im usually alone as well as i dont know anyone else with a 4by....so dont wont to try anythin to hard.
2inch body lift is all id go in a hilux im from loftus so im close by i havent been fourwheelin since menia got shut down but ive heard as long as your registered you right gut if you go out there and do a clean up your suposedily aloud out there

The front passenger spring perch is lower than the drivers side, as the drivers side perch is higher due to the diff pumpkin. Just put in a 10-12mm spacer to compensate.
