My 21R-C has the sump bowl at the front, can i just bolt on a 18R rear bowl sump? |

bubs you may need to re-route the pickup there was a topic on pirate about this only days ago, as long as the pickup is in the deeper part of the sump, you can put the bowl anywhere...... front, middle, rear! |

these motors came out in heaps of vehicles - vans, utes 2 & 4wd, celicas etc, local wreckers should have heaps of these motors in vehicles you could eye ball for a sump and pickup. |

ihave been told 21r and 18r are almost the same motor, besides 21 has an alloy head a few other slight changes, i have a 18R out of a 4wd and want to use its sump and pickup on the 21r |

The 18R is different. One of the 21R engine mount brackets are also different. It just so happens i know a guy that has a 4wd sump/pickup and engine mount bracket  |
