The Rodeo is an 82 model fitted with a 1600 petrol engine and his Jackaroo is an 85 model Turbo Deisel..Will the ratios be the same or will he have to fit his crown and wheel.

Hi!!!

Mine is an 85 Jackaroo but its the petrol and has a LSD rear. Generally speaking Rodeo and Jackaroo parts are virtually the same and too my knowledge if your mate doesnt have the LSD than yes it should be a stright in and out job. But dont quote me on that??? Confused

Sorry i couldnt help further,
Cheers,
Greazy

The diff's will probably be the same BUT, I doubt the ratio's will.If both cars were petrol's then you have a better chance.
I know toyota when making Hi-Luxes use different diff ratio's to give the pissy deisles more torque.

Hi WOLF thanks for the reply, he ended up ripping them both out and they are exactly the same even the same ratio so he might have even fitted it in by now already as i havent seen him for a few days..Thanks
