Well, I'm getting a set of axles with factory lockers in them from Japan, along with the controls. Just wanting some advise on the install. Since the US was never privileged to get factory lockers in our 60, along with pto winches, and diesels, damn Toyota USA.! Twisted Evil I thought you OZ guys could help.

Besides the lockers, getting a winch and doing an Old Man Emu lift with some 33" Swamper TSL's

BTW, she's 100% stock, for now Very Happy

They already are cable actuated. They're from a '87 HJ61.

No problem. Yes, they changed to the electric solenoid with the 80 series, I'm not sure about the 70 series though. According to my Toyota EPC, the 70 series also had cable lockers. Here's a pic of a 60 series locking 3rd:

$2500 US before shipping. That's 2 axles front/rear completed with lockers. I'm sure there's more available.

Now, my mechanic was going to charge me $2000 US, parts and labor, to install lockrights w/ lower gears. My stock axles are 3.73 and the new/used axles I'm getting are 4.11. I'm only going to be running 33" so 4.11 should do just fine. I could have saved some $ by gong with ARB's, but I like the simplicity of a cable. I'm also getting a full floater rear axle, winch was never an option in the US. Plus I'm going to do the install myself.
