Just did the rounds of the local Bearing Supply companies...
Seems like the smaller the bearing, the more it costs...

How's this 12mm bearing AU$6.50 ea if I buy 16
8mm bearing AU$12.00 ea for 4

Miniature Bearings Australia on the net have them for AU$5.09 and AU$5.50 respectively.
http://www.minibearings.com.au/

HobbyCo on the net has them at AU$1.50 and AU$1.45 respectively for "bulk". I'm not sure what bulk is, so I'll have to check that out.

What do you guys pay?

Thanx

2.50 at the most i would pay per bearing for standard 12by 6 or 8 by 10 sizes any toy world or the like should be able to get them in for you .
Have you got any shops like that your way.

Thanx Russell

I have a local Toyworld which has an RC section, the only one in town. Unfortunately they don't know much about electric cars, as most people up here have fuel powered cars... Im just happy someone sells RC stuff here!! Problem being when I order something there is no urgency with their suppliers. Maybe its because they are a small parts dealer... *shrugs*

Thanx

Even the nitro cars need bearings and most Toyworlds sell Tamiya.
All the nitro Tamiya stuff uses the same size bearings as the electric.
Hopefully the shop near you can get or SHOULD have the bearings in stock.Tell them you want them sent straight up or let me know and i can get them for you.
