Newbie RC Question

I know that this doesn't fit into the RC4x4 stuff really but you guys should know. Do people still race Losi XXs and XX-T. I've got one of each as well as an LXT and prob an onroad sitting around with a few sets of radio gear including elec speed controllers, modified motors, heaps of gears and batteries. Are these still competative trucks. I used to race about 6 years ago and have lost track of what's available.

the losi xx's and xx-t's could still be competive!
The LXT is nearly a collectors items! as parts are getting harder to find!

The XX-T is probably like the LXT was when I started Laughing

I also have (apart from the losis) a traxxus stampede and a yokomo yf-2 onroad (I think that was the part #) that hauls.

How about things like a tempest esc, polaris raidio gear, fet servos, I think I even have a fm radio setup. Are they still the go? For 4x4 stuff do you guys use reversing esc's?
