Hi guys,
Adam here, R/C crawler and pilot of the never ending RockHead project Jeep.
Glad to see you guys getting into the R/C rockcrawling thing. It really is TOPS fun especially looking down at MudCow from the top of an obsticle Laughing
Here is an update pic showing the latest incarnation of RockHead.
[/img]
Too many mods to list but it now has taller tyres, relocated steering system, updated 4-link geometry, rotated transmission, lower battery etc...
On top of my TXT-1, Clod, Bullhead, Willy and TL-01enstein I also now own the ultimate in R/C rockcrawling scale realism, a Tamiya Mountaineer. Most of the Toyota boys will recognise the early eighties Hi-Lux body but R/C fans will remember the scale cast axles, steel ladder frame, 3-speed tranny, locked diffs and leaf springs. This thing looks great when your crawling !
As DirtPigs mentioned my brother Matt and I now import a bunch of stuff from the states to turn your stock MT into a weapon of mass destruction so if you have any questions feel free to post me or e-mail direct. I don't want to use this forum for my business' benefit.
Oh yeah, Wooders and Moose (and maybe some others) will recognise me as Adam Townsend from the JCNSW. Cheers boys, this looks like a good place to play.....I might stay a while.

Bought it and a Clod from a guy I met in a hardware stoe. Nice guy but he didn't have a need for them any more and his bike needed some work.

Yeah well I spent most of last night on my overdue BAS so at least that's out of the way now. It's certainly the next thing on the list....the very looong list. <sigh>

Keep ya pants on Wooders. Rolling Eyes
I hope to have the website finished over the weekend.
JK suggested I just put some teasers up but that's not me, I'd rather finish it and have it all there in one hit. It's all a bit new to me but I'm working it out slowly.

How's you're Clod coming along ?

Unfortunately it had a busted wheel so I haven't been driving it as much as I would have liked but I won a set on e-bay today so I should have it going again soon. Not cheap though....$60US including post for a set of four wheels. They are new in the bag though.
I'll post some more pics when I get some new wheels and tyres on it.
